My mom actually first recommended this book to me and for the first couple chapters it’s pretty boring but it actually gets pretty exciting later on in the book. There’s a lot of references to boating  materials and terms but if you can get past all of that it’s a great book and it’s so much fun to read even for me.

John, Susan, Roger and titty our mommy’s little angels. There’s sweet respectful and most of all obedient. One day while rowing their little digging around the harbor they meet the captain Jim Brading of the goblin a beautiful white ship with red sails. Reluctantly mother lets them go with Jim brading on a “two day” adventure. They are having the time of their lives till the goblin has some unforeseen problems with a must pull to Harbor. difficult circumstances mean the children must stay on the Goblin alone. When Jim brading doesn’t return for several hours the children realize they are not stagnant but moving. As they float out of sight of the beach end boi there hopefloats out of sight too.
