This book has inspired me changed me challenged me. I could read this book over and over again and get the same exciting feeling every time. This is definitely one of my favorites and I had to share it with you in this review. it’s not quite the same as The Witch of Blackbird Pond but I know you’ll love it just as much as I have !
Clara frankofile is an 11 year old (going on 50) snob. She is quick-witted and clever . She likes to think for her own . No one will tell her what to do or say. Her parents own the fanciest restaurant in the whole of New York ; pish posh. She sits in the very furthest back table in the restaurant and judges the fancy glamorous customers. She judges on if they are nobodies or somebody’s. If they are nobodies they will be asked to leave never to return. If they are somebody’s they will stay. This book is featured around one character it is written from their perspective of Katherine Tyler a secular tropical teenager in a world of Puritans. She struggles to fit in in the plain dull town of Wethersfield. Kit ( kathrine) moves to the newly found America from her home in Barbados shortly after her grandfather and soul Provider dies. Her only living relative is her aunt Rachel. she must travel the distance to find her family. She is stubborn and refuses to attend argerous church services with her puritin family. But apon meeting a old quacker women her view Wethersfield changes dramatically. She realizes the potential in this new land. She must struggle to find her feelings in a feeling this place meanwhile chaos is happening around her. This adventuresome young girl must find her way the maze her challenges make.. as she becomes the witch of Blackbird Pond.

The wolf king and the warden. This without question is the best book in the series. Every other book in the series has been leading up to this book. I can honestly say I have never felt so emotionally entwined with any other book.
In this book Janner and Kalmar’s bond becomes so close it’s unbreakable. Leeli becomes a hereon and great respect falls graciously on their family. We see the qualities of kings and guardians in the children. Up until this book the children were being taught how to react and behave like royalty. But now they must put their training to good use. They must use it in more intense battle than ever before. they find out more about their father. More about their subjects. More about their friends. This book as well as being explanatory is touching. It has the most heart wrenching ending I have ever read. I literally made me cry it’s beautiful, sad , happy , graceful , and perfect in one paragraph. Guys I cannot emphasize enough how spectacular this book is. every other book is worth reading for the closing chapter let alone the whole book. A must read series for me!
